Men aver Beach is situated near Nare Point on the east coast of Lizard Peninsula.
This quiet, sand, shingle and rocky beach is backed by Lestowder Cliff and a short distance from Gillan and the Helford River.
Swimming is possible. The beach is partially sheltered by Nare Point.
Good snorkelling.
Suitable for windsurfing
Many rock pools especially towards Men-aver Point and around Nare Point.
Men-aver Beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
No safety equipment

No facilities.
The nearest are at Porthallow 2.1 miles away (3.5km)
If you're walking the coast path you'll encounter Men-aver Beach on the section of the path between Porthoustock and Gillan.
Men-aver Beach is one of a group of small coves and beaches around Nare Point including the adjoining Parbean Cove.
Roadside parking near Lestowder Farm. Please park considerately and do not obstruct any farm gateways or the lane.
Location:
From the roadside parking walk down the hill. Cross the stream. Look for the stile on the left, cross the stile and walk across the field until you get to the coast path. Turn left. Cross the bridge over the stream to get to the slipway which will take you to the beach. Please do not use the private slipway
