Easter Rockpool Ramble
Join expert volunteers from the Looe Marine Conservation Group for a rockpool ramble! Discover some of the wonderful creatures and beautiful seaweeds that inhabit Looe’s amazing rockpools.
Come and join local experts as we explore the rocky shore, finding lots of the amazing critters that live on it!
Learn about starfish, crabs, fish, anemones and lots more at this educational event that is guaranteed to satisfy the whole family. Booking isn’t required for our rockpool rambles, but we do ask that all attendees come along with suitable footwear (no flip flops) and leave their nets at home as they can harm delicate rockpool creatures.

Looe Food Festival
The Looe Food Festival showcases local produce and local suppliers, allowing visitors to enjoy and sample a true taste of Cornwall.
Visitors can sample some wonderful Cornish food and drink and enjoy the chefs demonstrations - collecting recipes to take home. Local produce is for sale.

Looe Lugger Regatta
Every Two Years in June
A biennial event very popular with participants and visitors alike. Two days of Classic Boat racing, with large and small classes.
Boats racing and on view, some of which are over 100 years old. Well supported by our friends from France and their magnificent boats.
Boats will be arriving on the tide on the Friday night, the French may be a little earlier.
Racing from about 10.30am on the Saturday until 5.40pm. Sunday from 11.30am until 3.30pm - subject to weather conditions.
Organised by The Looe Lugger Association and supported by local business and Town Organisations.

Running for over a decade now, the South East Cornwall Walking Festival is a weeklong festival of walks around south east Cornwall taking in seaside villages, rural hamlets, the Tamar Valley and edge of Bodmin Moor.

Looe Festival of the Sea
Each year in July, Looe hosts this exciting celebration of all things Cornish! and celebrates its relationship with the sea.
All the entertainment and events are organised by local groups and organisations including the RNLI and Looe Boat Owners Association.

Looe Music Festival
Every September, Looe hosts a very popular music festival. The festival takes place over a weekend, usually in mid to late September.
South East Cornwall Walking Festival
This walking festival has been running for over 10 years. The event takes place for a week in September. All of the walks take place in and around the Looe area with many of them starting in Looe. There are walks to suit all tastes from gentle strolls of a couple of miles to long hikes of seven miles or more.
Looe Christmas Lights
From early December, Looe lights up for Christmas with a spectacular display of illuminations. Boats and buildings are decorated with lights around the river and the towns of East and West Looe.
Looe Firework Displays
Looe holds an annual firework display every November and a New Year's Eve display to welcome in the New Year.

Car Boot Sales in Looe
Car boot sale. Organised by Looe Lions.
Every Sunday morning (subject to weather conditions) during the summer months (June/July to September) Situated mid way between Looe and Polperro at West Wayland.
Official open hours are 8am to midday (please note: many regular sellers arrive from 6.30am).
