Looe has two beaches very close to the town, one in East Looe and one in West Looe and there are two more beaches within easy reach of the town to the east.
East Looe Beach
East Looe beach is sandy and popular with families. Facilities include: car parking at East and West Looe; toilets close to the beach; shops and refreshments nearby in the town.
There is an all year dog ban with dogs not allowed on the beach at any time of the year.
Hannafore Beach
Hannafore beach is rocky with some areas of sand and pebbles. Car parking on the road at Hannafore Point or during busy times at the large car park at West Looe or one of the smaller car parks in East Looe. Facilities include toilets and a cafe.
Hannafore beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
Plaidy Beach
Plaidy beach is sandy with rock pools. There is no car park here - the nearest car parks are at Millendreath and Looe. There are no toilets at Plaidy Beach -the nearest toilets are at Looe. To get to Plaidy Beach you need to walk from Looe or Millendreath with Millendreath being closer but the coastal walk can be quite challenging as it is steep in places.
Plaidy Beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
Millendreath Beach
A sandy beach with rockpools. Car parking but no toilets. No lifeguard service. Dogs are banned, not allowed on the beach at any time of year.
