Annual Events in Marazion

Marazion Carnival
In June or July annually

Live music, dancers, magic, Punch & Judy, demonstrations, games, tug-of-war competition, BBQ, cream teas and lots of stalls as well as a noisy and colourful procession through the town.

Events on the Folly Field. Parking. Near beach. Great sea views. Dog friendly.

Great Western Dog Walk
Every October

In aid of Brain Tumour Research

Join in the Great Western Dog Walk from Marazion to Penzance and celebrate dogs being allowed back on Cornwall’s beaches after the summer season ban and help raise funds for Brain Tumour Research and Support.

Marazion, Cornwall

Registration at the Godolphin Arms from 9am and the walk starts at 10.30am.

Entry fee £6 per adult. The entry fee includes a pasty and drink at the finish, and a goody bag for every dog.

There is also a prize draw on the day.

For easy access parking, head to Folly Field, Marazion. Free return travel is available from Penzance back to Marazion.


The event is kindly supported by Great Western Railway, St Aubyn Estates, The Rotary Club of Penwith and Derek Thomas MP.


The Land's End 100
Usually in October

Annual cycling event
Routes around the Land's End and Lizard peninsulas.

Stunning locations, quiet roads and breath taking views make this one of the most scenic rides in the country.

A choice of thee distances are available. All routes start and finish at Marazion and will all go to Land's End with the 100 mile route also making its way around The Lizard peninsula.
