Cape Cornwall Beaches |
|
Cape Cornwall beach to the south at the base of Cape Cornwall is known as Priest's Cove and is popular with swimmers. The beach is recorded as having been in use since medieval times. At low tide the rock pools form a rock swimming pool. The rock pools are also good for exploring for sea life.
Due to an increase in dog fouling at Priest's Cove, the Cape Slip Association and the National Trust have reluctantly decided that dogs are no longer allowed from Easter to 30th September from the area of the winch house down into the cove. From 1st October to Easter dogs are allowed. There is a car park and toilets. Tide Times at Cape Cornwall (Map integratetion by www.choughmountain.design)
