Perranporth Beach is a huge sandy beach over 2 miles in length, excellent for swimming and surfingThe beach starts at the town of Perranporth and extends northwards along Penhale Sands to Ligger Point. Facilities include car parking, toilets, shops and cafes. RNLI Lifeguards are on duty at the Perran Sands area of Perranporth beach from mid May to the end of September. At the end of the beach closest to the town, RNLI lifeguards are on duty at Easter and then from 1st May to the 30th September and during October half term holiday. However, from July to September dogs must be kept on a short lead between 10am and 5pm.
