New Board Members sought

The Partnership is changing! Currently the full Partnership meets four times a year and elect from among themselves a small Management Group to take the work forward between meetings.

The decision was taken this year to replace the Management Group with a Management Board separate from the Partnership, but reporting to it. This will create a difference between the Partnership, which is made up of stake-holders and responsible for policy and direction and the Management Board, responsible for ensuring the work programme is delivered. Applications for the Board are now being invited. A pack is available which details the terms and conditions and the skills we are seek- ing. Board members do not all have to be Cornish speakers, but we are looking for a range of skills. Officers of language organisations are excluded, in order to ensure that MAGA can work directly with the language groups with no conflicts of interest.

Applications are invited, to be received by the 18th November. Further details from the office. The Board will be ratified by the Partnership in December and begin its work in the New Year.
