U3A Roseland and District Coach Holiday

The University of the Third Age Roseland and District has obtained dates for their proposed 4-day coach holiday to London. Plans are to travel by Truronian Coaches to London on Wednesday 1st October, see A Midsummer Night's Dream at 2.00 pm on Thursday 2nd, and The Merry Wives of Windsor on Friday 3rd at 2.00 pm at Shakespeare's Globe theatre.

We then travel home on Saturday 4th having had our fill of Shakespeare and the sites and sounds of London, where you could visit art galleries in the morning, have lunch in one of the restaurants along the South Bank, see a West End show in the evening - or just relax with pleasant company. The choice is yours.

Tickets to Shakespeare's Globe theatre, sitting under the gallery, are £33.00 for each performance.

As Shakespeare's Globe theatre demands full payment within three weeks of reservation of seats, we will also have to confirm the coach and hotel at an approximate cost of £10,000. Therefore, it is advisable for you to register your interest with Shirley Davis on 01872 - 270030 so that details may be sent to you immediately they are known. A £50 deposit for the coach and hotel will be required, along with the full cost of the Shakespeare tickets.
