Durgan is a pretty hamlet on the northern bank of the Helford River.

Owned by the National Trust, as is the beautiful, sub-tropical garden of Glendurgan, which follows the valley to the river, Durgan consists of woodland, picturesque cottages and a pretty beach.

Offshore are moorings.

Durgan celebrates its marine association with an annual regatta on the last Sunday in August.
