Two sheltered sandy beaches - Kennack Sands East and West, popular with families and good for surfing, for surfers of all abilities.
RNLI Lifeguards are on duty from mid May to early September. For more information about the lifeguard service - RNLI Area support centre Tel: 01872 572413 or email lifeguards@rnli.org.uk Facilities include: car park, cafe and toilets. Kennack Sands East beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round. During the season use the path behind Kennack West Beach to access Kennack East. Kennack Sands West (nearest to the car park) has a dog ban from 1st July to 31st August between 10am and 6pm and is dog friendly outside these hours and from 1st September to 30th June.
