Pentewan's sandy beach is about a half mile wide.Good for windsurfing, swimming, kayaking and surfing. There is no lifeguard service but there is emergency equipment and an emergency telephone on the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time of the year. Facilities include car parking in the village and toilets.
