Rejoice in the spirit of Christmas with an evening of song and music at the Truro Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society’s (T.A.O.D.S) annual Carolare. Filled with seasonal favourites, festive poems and Cornish tunes, this one night only performance will be held in the beautiful Truro School Chapel at Truro School on 10 December at 7.30pm.
An extra special year – not to be missed!
T.A.O.D.S annual Carolare will be extra special this year. T.A.O.D.S, Top Notes mixed-voice choir and T.A.O.D.S Youth Theatre are coming together to perform a few classic children’s Christmas numbers. With a chance for the audience to join in with traditional carol singing, there’s something for all the family.

Top Notes’ and this year’s Carolare director, Peter Smith, has curated a beautiful repertoire for Rejoice. Accompanied by soloist Sheila Smith who brightens the reimagining of one of the Christmas classics, the T.A.O.D.S Carolare will be a night to sign to and remember.

Peter Smith says, “Truro Operatic Society’s traditional Carolare 2017 include festive songs, readings and carols woven together and passionately delivered by a cross-section of T.A.O.D.S members young and not so young. An evening of rejoicing an enjoying, an unapologetic indulgence in Christmas music beautifully sung with something for everyone.”
