
Creek Stephen Beach is a sandy, secluded beach in a lovely location on The Roseland Peninsula.
It can only be accessed from the end of Porthbean Beach at low water or by boat. Climb over the rocks near the old fisherman's slipway. Within one hour either side of high water you cannot access Creek Stephen Beach.
The geology of the beach is interesting with fascinating rock formations. It also has many rock pools to explore.
Swimming here is possible, especially on an incoming tide. Snorkelling and diving are good here at high tide, particularly near Creek Stephen Point
There is no rescue or safety equipment.
No lifeguard service.
This is not a surfing beach.
Creek Stephen Beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
There are no toilets or other facilities. The nearest are at Portscatho (1.5 miles/2.5 km) and during the summer at Porthcurnick Beach (0.6 miles/1 km)
The nearest parking is on the Rosevine road. There is no car park so you have to find suitable on road parking.
