Crinnis Beach A large sandy beach currently being redeveloped as a new luxury resort. A sandy beach with some pebbles. Dogs are banned on Charlestown Beach all year round. Car park. Facilities in the village include toilets, cafes and shops.
Par has two beaches. One is long and sandy and lies to the East of Par while the other is very small. Par Beach is a large sandy beach which lies to the east of the harbour. Spit Beach is a small beach to the West of Par. Both beaches allow dogs all year round. Pentewan's sandy beach is about a half mile wide.Good for windsurfing, swimming, kayaking and surfing. There is no lifeguard service but there is emergency equipment and an emergency telephone on the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time of the year. Facilities include car parking in the village and toilets. Polkerris has a sandy beach sheltered by a harbour wall.Facilities include a car park, toilets and local shops all within easy reach of the beach. Dogs are banned between Easter and October and the beach is dog friendly between 1st October and Easter. No lifeguard service. There is another small beach near to Polkerris which requires a short walk of about 10 minutes. Polkerris beach on the map Polruan has a small sandy beach at its Quay.The beach is only uncovered at low water. Facilities include car parking, toilets and shops in the village. Dogs are banned from using the beach at any time of the year. East facing beach with 300 metres of sand even at high water. Good for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. On the west side of the beach, there are rock pools to explore. The Porthpean Sailing Club is based here. Access to the beach is via a sloping slipway. Seasonal facilities behind the beach include toilets and a snack bar, closed during the winter. No jet-skiing allowed. Toilets and snack bar on the promenade. There is a large, privately owned car park. There is no lifeguard service at Porthpean Beach. Porthpean beach has a seasonal dog ban from 1st July to 31st August between 10am and 6pm.
