St Mawes beaches and harbour from the air
St Mawes Beaches |
St Mawes has two beaches Summers or Freshwater beach and Tavern Beach.Summers Beach also known as Freshwater beach, is sandy and larger than Tavern. It receives more visitors because of its proximity to the car park. Tavern beach is close to the castle. Facilities in the town of St Mawes include car parking, toilets, shops and cafes. There is no lifeguard service but rescue equipment is available. Summer's beach has a dog ban from 1st July to 31st August between 10am and 6pm and is dog friendly outside these hours and from 1st September to 30th June.
