Padstow Beaches

Padstow renowned for its picturesque harbour and the River Camel also has three beaches.

Hawker's Cove

Half a mile outside Padstow towards the mouth of the Camel estuary

This sandy beach lies between Gun Point, known locally as the Battery, and Stepper Point.

There are no facilities except car parking.

Harbour Cove with Tregirls Cove.

A large area of sandy beach slightly closer to Padstow but merging with Hawker's Cove at low water

This beach has no facilities but is a very pleasant walk from Padstow, where you will find toilets, shops, cafes.

St George's Cove

A sandy beach close to Padstow

The beach is located beneath Gun Point.
There are no facilities but Padstow is very close-by.

There is a dog ban on this beach from 1st July to 31st August between 10am and 6pm and outside these hours and from 1st September to 30th June the beach is dog friendly.
