Kingsand Beach Kingsand beach is popular for swimming and boating. The beach is a mixture of sand and shingle with rock pools. It is accessed via a small slope and steps. Facilities including toilets, cafes and shops are available in Kingsand village. Kingsand beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round. Large parking area. Cawsand Beach A sand and shingle beach with a slipway. Facilities including toilets, cafes and shops are available in Cawsand village. Cawsand Beach has a dog ban from 1st July to 31st August between 10am and 6pm and is dog friendly outside these hours and between 1st September and 30th June. Large parking area.

Looe has two beaches very close to the town, one in East Looe and one in West Looe and there are two more beaches within easy reach of the town to the east.
Polperro is primarily a fishing village with a working harbour but it has a small sandy beach just outside the harbour wall.Facilities including car parking, toilets and shops are in the village. There is no lifeguard service but rescue equipment is available at the beach. Polperro beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round. Portwrinkle has two main beaches and nearby smaller beaches. Finnygook Beach, the second and more easterly of the main beaches is sandy.At low tide, there are plenty of rock pools to explore with their variety of sea life. Finnygook is south facing, sandy, backed by cliffs. The most popular of Portwrinkle's beaches it stands on its eastern side. This is a great beach for experienced surfers and is very popular with families. It is a few minutes walk from the car park. Facilities include car parking and toilets. Heed the warnings given on site regarding swimming and the cliffs. Finny Gook Beach is dog friendly all year round, no restrictions but please keep dogs under control and clear up after dog. Hoodny Cove and Harbour Beach The western beach adjacent to the quay and harbour is of shingle Hoodny Cove and Harbour Beach have a dog ban in operation from Easter Sunday - 30th September inclusive. All hours (24/7) There is no lifeguard service at any of Portwrinkle's beaches but rescue equipment is available. Access to the beaches is by steep paths and is limited at high tide. Britain Cove A secluded sandy beach which is small at high tide. Britain Cove is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round. There are two small car parks on the cliffs above the two main beaches. Toilet facilities are available. Seaton Beach is a large beach of sand and shingle with the River Seaton crossing its western side. Very popular with families and dog owners. At low water you can walk along the beach to Downderry. Seaton Beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round. Car parking near the beach with level access. Facilities include a cafe, pub and toilets. There is no lifeguard service. Talland Bay has two beaches. Talland SandsA sand and shingle beach with many rock pools. Sheltered bathing. Easily accessible with level access to the beach. Rotterdam BeachSand and shingle beach with rock pools and offering sheltered bathing, just to the east of Talland Sands. Accessed by steps. Facilities include car parking, toilets, shop. There is no lifeguard service but rescue equipment is available. Both beaches are dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
