Penzance Beaches
Eastern Green Beach
A beach of sand and fine shingle which starts at Station Rocks and extends to Longrock. A very gently shelving beach and usually sheltered. You can wade out quite a way without being out of your depth.
The area of water close to Station Rocks is used by beginner surfers.
This beach can be accessed along the footpath from the rail/bus station at Penzance or by the pedestrian footbridge across the railway at Eastern Green.
Eastern Green is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
No lifeguard service.
Penzance Promenade Beach
This beach can be accessed from Penzance Promenade and extends to the Lariggan River near Newlyn.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 1st July - 31st August 10am - 6pm but outside these hours and between 1st September and 30th June dogs are allowed.
No lifeguard service.
Wherrytown Beach
This beach extends from the Larrigan River to Newlyn.
It is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
